Senator Klobuchar To Visit Region

You are cordially invited to come to a meeting with Senator Amy Klobuchar this Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Dawson. 

At 2:30 p.m. she will be arriving at the Dawson City Building to talk to us about our Broadband Initiative for Lac qui Parle County – this will include a presentation from Farmers Mutual Telephone & LqP County Commissioners on the status of our fiber deployment.  Following that presentation we will do a tour & demo of the LqP Computer Commuter.  Next there will be time for the other LqP County MIRC (MN Intelligent Rural Communities) Grant recipients to talk about their projects as well.  In closing, we will have a question & answer session that is for BROADBAND and TECHNOLOGY related questions for the Senator and questions from the Senator for us!

This event is open to the public – so invite anyone you think may have an interest.
