The City of Clarkfield was awarded a $1,107,403 SCDP grant from DEED, authored by the UMVRDC. The grant supported the rehabilitation of 20 owner-occupied homes and five commercial properties, as well as a new water tower as part of a larger project addressing the community’s infrastructure needs. The projects, totaling more than $24 million, also addressed improvements to the drinking water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems.
