Are you interested in having public art in your community? Are you wondering how to involve artists in public improvement projects? Are you an artist interested in creating public art?
SMAC, in partnership with Forecast Public Art, invites you to learn about the exciting field of public art and how you can get started with your own art projects.
Two day FREE workshop:
JUNE 24 – 25, 2015 * Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort, Granite Falls
Forecast presenters will review recent local, national and international public art projects, and provide a step-by-step guided tour through the process of developing a public art project. Participants will also engage in a discussion on the benefits that public art can bring to your communities. This free workshop will provide you with opportunities to meet with others in your region that are interested in public art, connect you with resources as you explore public art possibilities, and provide inspiration to get your planning started!
