The UMVRDC has been working with the Upper Sioux Community to complete an energy plan. Jacki and Kristi met with USC staff on July 13th to discuss the final steps for completing the Upper Sioux Community Energy Plan. A questionnaire will be prepared for community members to provide feedback on the plan strategies or present new ideas for the community to consider regarding energy efficiency and conservation.
The UMVRDC has already coordinated an educational panel on Wind, Solar, Biomass and Geothermal Opportunities, provided examples of community energy efficiency and conservation strategies, and is in the final stages of developing the Energy Plan.
