Nicholas Gjerde

I am proud to join the UMVRDC as a Community Development Specialist with a concentration in clean energy.  I am a global development practice master’s degree candidate at Harvard Extension School with graduate certificates in international relations and environmental policy and international development and am nearing completion of another in nuclear deterrence. I hold a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Minnesota and am a certified eagle scout through Troop 2 of my hometown in Lafayette, MN. I am interested in working toward the implementation of policies that provide social, economic, and ecological sustainability.
