The City of Granite Falls will receive an addition $1 million from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Upon the receipt of the funds, Granite Falls will have received a total of approximately $15 million in flood migration funds. Most of these funds have been funneled through the Minnesota DNR Waters division.
UMVRDC staff continues to work with Granite Falls to provide grant management and grant administration services to help with their ongoing flood mitigation needs.
