The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) manages the Conservation Partners Legacy grant program (CPL) which funds projects that enhance, restore, or protect forests, wetlands, prairies, and habitat for fish, game and wildlife in Minnesota.
Projects must be on public lands or waters, or on lands permanently protected by a conservation easement. Grant amounts may range from $5,000 to $400,000. A minimum 10% match is required, and total project costs cannot exceed $575,000.
The grant cycle will close on Sept. 9 at 4 p.m.
