First hired as transportation planner at the UMVRDC in 1994, I had the opportunity to work in many of the program areas of the agency before becoming Executive Director in 2008. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, Environmental Science, and Secondary Education from Concordia College in Moorhead. I have the pleasure of traveling throughout the five-county region and seeing many community projects or loan clients the RDC has worked with over my tenure. It is rewarding to work on a variety of initiatives that I can relate and connect to personally and professionally. I live along the Minnesota River in beautiful Lac qui Parle County on our family farm with my husband and have three young adult children. I love to travel, read, garden, and cook.
