The UMVRDC assisted the City of Dawson with grant writing services that recently helped secure $500,000 from the Department of Employment and Economic Development’s Business Development Public Infrastructure (BDPI) program for improvements in their industrial park to assist expanding businesses. Funds would be used for road, curb & gutter improvements and would support a new pre-treatment plant needed for new and expanding business in Dawson’s industrial park.
