Since 2004, the Blandin Foundation’s Broadband Initiative has been providing grants to rural Minnesota communities to promote broadband adoption and use.  Four current grant program offerings provide communities with access to funds to:

• Conduct broadband feasibility studies
• Deploy advanced broadband applications
• Increase computer ownership and broadband adoption among low-income populations
• Implement projects that support a culture of broadband use
