Public Open House Transportation Meeting
March 31, 2015 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
The Upper Minnesota Valley Regional Development Commission’s Transportation Advisory Committee invites the public to attend a transportation open house on Tuesday, March 31st from 5:00-6:30pm at the Appleton Civic Center, 323 W. Schlieman Avenue in Appleton. This meeting will include a formal presentation on transportation at 5:30pm to seek public comment on the draft list of transportation projects (roads, bridges, public transit, transportation alternatives) proposing to use federal transportation funding in the years 2016-2019 within Big Stone, Swift, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties.
The local county road system five year transportation plans will also be on hand for informational purposes.
Comments or suggestions for transportation improvements can be made in person at the meeting, or mailed, emailed, or called in and will be included in the meeting notes which will be provided to MnDOT and the affected counties.
