Representatives of the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) informed the City of Granite Falls that they will receive an additional $660,000.00 in flood mitigation funding. The new appropriation will go toward the completion of work on the Prentice Street Flood Protection Project and remaining dollars will be used to begin other flood mitigation projects.
