Prairie Waters Annual Gathering a Great Success

Posted by viadmin | October 19, 2010

There were approximately 80 people in attendance at Hinterland Vineyards near Clara City on August 11th for the Western Minnesota Prairie Waters Regional Tourism Annual Gathering.
This year’s Annual Gathering featured a Free Wine Tasting. Everyone enjoyed the delicious complimentary appetizers provided by Shooters Bar & Grill of Appleton, and the wine tasting consisted of five different wines grown in Minnesota. The evening ended with the door prize drawing, and many lucky guests were treated to door prizes donated by businesses from around the region.
Our goal in hosting an event like our Annual Gathering is to highlight the unknown opportunities and hidden treasures in the Prairie Waters region while educating people about Prairie Waters. Prairie Waters promotes our area as a regional destination. This allows us to advertise collaboratively and produce the Visitors Guide and maintain the www.PrairieWaters.com website. We continue to look for innovative and cost-effective ways to market our region as a great place to live, work and play.
Please let your city and county representatives know that Prairie Waters Regional Tourism is important to you! Prairie Waters is supported by the counties of Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, and Swift and the cities of Appleton, Benson, Clara City, Dawson, Granite Falls, Hanley Falls, Madison, Milan, and Montevideo.
Visit the Hinterland Vineyards website at www.hinterlandvineyards.com.
