Pride of the Prairie is offering free membership to Minnesota Grown for the years 2025 – 2027!
Calling all Direct Market farmers in Big Stone, Chippewa, Swift, Lac qui Parle, and Yellow Medicine Counties!
Be a part of the Pride of the Prairie Local Food Directory, a partnership with the Minnesota Grown, utilizing their online platform.
To be part of this directory, you just need to become a Minnesota Grown member with a listing on the wholesale or consumer directory, which comes with many additional benefits such as a license to use the Minnesota Grown logo and free marketing materials.
Membership to Minnesota Grown is $25/year (wholesale growers) or $65/year (consumer market). If you are already a member, you will automatically be on the Pride of the Prairie directory.
How to apply for a FREE MEMBERSHIP to Minnesota Grown:
New Members
Fill out and sign the application, enter “POP” in the Amount Due and email or mail to Minnesota Grown. Minnesota Grown memberships expire 12/31/25 for all members who join now through 9/30/25. Those who join 10/1/25 or after get their membership through 12/31/26.
Renewing Members
A renewal application will be sent to you from Minnesota Grown in late November. Enter “POP” in the Amount Due and email or mail to Minnesota Grown.
If you already paid this year, you can get a free membership next year by completing the above renewal process when you receive renewal forms by mail from Minnesota Grown in late November. Each farm will be eligible for 2 years of Free Membership.
PLEASE NOTE: To receive the free membership, you must submit a PDF of the application through email or a paper copy through the mail. For new or renewing members who would like to participate, do not submit an online application and payment.
Those receiving free memberships may be asked to fill out a small survey to help give feedback on this pilot project.
