I joined UMVRDC as the Community Development Specialist in September 2022. I am originally from Velva, ND – home of Eric Sevareid and Dots Pretzels. I attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Business. Most recently I worked in tourism and community development in Jamestown, ND, developing new experiences for visitors and creating invitations to discover Jamestown. I love finding creative ways to build collaborations that make communities stronger. My wife and I live in Morris, MN and have one little girl whose favorite colors are pink and purple.
