The UMVRDC and a group of local economic development professionals have been working with Ben Winchester, University of Minnesota Extension Research Fellow, to complete a new study titled Regional Recruitment: Strategies to Attract and Retain Newcomers.
The study outlines interesting quotes, demographics, economic impacts, and reasons on why people are choosing to move to the region.
The local regional recruitment group is continuing to work on strategies to implement the findings of this study.
