MnDOT is seeking input from Minnesota residents who are members of populations experiencing disparities regarding future transportation investments.
MnDOT is working with PartnerSHIP 4 Health and other organizations around the state to solicit input from these disparate communities, including BIPOC, immigrants, LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, the elderly, youth, etc.
Attached is an explanation of the project in four languages, and the survey in four languages (English, Hmong, Somali, and Spanish).
We have until the end of September 2022 to help MnDOT gather this input, and we need YOUR HELP!
Please post this information on your city, county, school district, or metro government website and/or social media and then notify me of your posting.
If you have any estimate as to how many people your post will reach, please let me know that also. (MnDOT wants us to report those numbers.)
There are three ways that people can complete the survey:
- They can fill out the attached PDF form electronically and e-mail it to me patrick.hollister@claycountymn.gov and I will enter their responses online.
- OR, they can fill out a paper copy of the attached PDF form, scan it, and e-mail it to me patrick.hollister@claycountymn.gov and I will enter their responses online.
- OR, they can answer the survey directly online at https://minnesotago.org/mnshipsurvey and they will be given a choice of which language they would like for answering the survey.
We really appreciate all the help you can give us between now and Friday, September 30!
